It’s one that I’m personally quite fond of, so if you’re looking for fresh sounds and something different, look no further that Concentrate Recordings Debut EP!

Review + Stream: Blake Jarrell & Jeff Varisco – Carrollton/Burgundy EP

Concentrate Recordings launches with its first full length EP with a 2 track collaboration with New Orleans/LA artist Jeff Varisco and head honcho Blake Jarrell.

It’s been a while since a progressive track caught my attention and this is one of them. It isn’t filled with every sample known to man, nor is it overly complicated – but it still packs in quite a punch. Blake has always been one to execute his tracks with precision, and carefully build each layer to give you that perfect track. Both ‘Carrollton’ and ‘Burgundy’ bring to the fore strong melodies, a clean, yet peak-time bassline and everything comes together with a few simple, yet powerful samples that make this a perfect debut release for this extremely talented artist.
