The dirty bass partnered with the aggressive percussion, makes this tune a certified must play at any underground party. A true 'peak set' tune, this will leave you more than impressed with Lupe Fuentes.

Review + Stream: Lupe Fuentes – Let It Feel Alright (4.5/5)

In this day and age when underground music is becoming more than just an acquired taste, this lady has given the word ‘funky’ a whole new meaning. Garnering support and air time from DubfireGorgon City,ClaptoneTensnakeDimitri from ParisTodd TerryJunior SanchezThe S manShiba San, and Deep Dish to name a few; and releases on labels like GuesthouseNervousInhouseUndercoolDefinedBrobotPositiveWIN, she believes every person needs a chance to evolve and this is her evolution. With that being said,  Lupe Fuentes releases her boutique label called In The LoopThis talented femme fatale is proving that women are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the underground scene NOT for their looks but their musicality (although shes drop dead gorgeous too!). To mark the launch of her label she releases, “Let It Feel Alright”, which is a dark, almost devilish track that one can imagine being played in a dimly lit room with all eyes on the speakers and pulsating beats leaving you out of breath.

The old school tech house vibe partnered with deep echoing vocals, leave you swaying away and nodding your head in agreement with the heavy bass lines. The scintillating sounds lead to shoulder shrugging and the minute the drop kicks in, you just want to stomp away. The simple keys escalate into a complex mirage of effects that just keep building until it’s almost reminiscent of a time when classics existed.
