Pioneer DJ has revealed a new addition to its headphone range: the HDJ-700.
The fully enclosed HDJ-700s are geared towards dance music, with a focus on clear mid and low frequencies and accurate monitoring. They’ve got 40 mm driver units with rare earth magnets that Pioneer says creates “powerful bass and great sound insulation.” The frequency response is 5Hz – 28,000Hz. They are also equipped with soft ear cups and the right earpiece rotates up to 60 degrees. The HDJ-700s come with two cables: a 1.2-metre coiled cable and a one-metre straight cable. They’ll be available from October 2015 in matt black, matt black with a gold or red stripe and white. For full specs, head over to the Pioneer website.
